As shown below: This replacement project included the demolition of fourteen cells of wood structured, field erected cross flow cooling towers which were replaced by the installation of fourteen cells of new factory assembled cross flow cooling towers.
Existing concrete basins were reused with new structural support steel, some minor piping modifications and steel decking over the unused portion of the cold water basins.
